Karlovy Vary is the largest and best-known Czech spa town, founded by Charles IV (Roman Emperor) more than 600 years ago. The spa is attractively located in the valley of the Teplá (Warm) river and is famous for its 12 springs. The most productive of them is the “Vřídlo”, with temperature of 72,2 degrees Celsius.
